J. C. Dunn brought this suit against the Commerce Life Insurance Company, its successor, the Southwest American Life Insurance Company, and others, including the company officers, R. K. Abbrat, W. A. Thomas and Vincent Caltigirone. Dunn sought to set off the unpaid balance on a note which R. K. Abbrat had made and delivered to him against two notes which Dunn executed payable to Abbrat, which had been assigned to the Commerce Life Insurance Company...
