This action was brought by James Witt and Julius Grossman to recover damages for personal injuries sustained when the automobile in which they were riding was struck from the rear by one owned and operated by defendant Jackson. The City of Los Angeles, plaintiffs' employer and owner of the vehicle that was being driven by Witt at the time of the accident, intervened to recover for the damage to its automobile...
