This is an action in tort instituted by the plaintiff for the recovery of substantial damages for bodily injuries she allegedly sustained when she fell while walking on an alleged defective sidewalk in the City of Bogalusa. She sued both the City of Bogalusa and its alleged liability insurer, Employers Liability Assurance Corporation, Ltd.
