Appellant, Troy Gene Powell, shortly before entering the United States Navy, obtained a divorce from his wife, Winnie Sue James Powell, in the Scott Chancery Court, said decree being entered on September 29, 1958. The custody of the two minor children, born of the marriage, Debra, age three, and Rebecca, age five, was placed in Mrs. Powell.
