This is an action by William Perry, as plaintiff, against the City of St. Louis and Malcolm Wittels, as defendants, to recover damages for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained as a result of a fall on the public sidewalk abutting premises owned by defendant Wittels. There was a verdict for $5,000 in favor of plaintiff, which was reduced by remittitur to the sum of $3,000. From the judgment entered on said verdict the defendants...
