Appellant was convicted after jury trial on 14 counts of a 15 count indictment for refusing to answer pertinent questions before the Internal Security Subcommittee of the Committee on the Judiciary of the United States Senate.* The questions were asked during the course of an executive session and later at a public hearing before the Subcommittee.1 Appellant was sentenced to three months...
