This is an appeal from a judgment of conviction of attempted robbery with a finding that defendant was armed at the time of the attempted robbery and of the denial of appellant's motion for a new trial.

In an information filed in Los Angeles County appellant was charged with a violation of section 211 of the Penal Code in that he did on April 26, 1958, attempt to rob J.J. Lestelle and Isabel Amato and further that at the time of the attempted robbery...
