The claimant was employed as a dancer with the U. S. O. in the South Pacific on February 15, 1945 when during a rehearsal he experienced a pain in his back while lifting another dancer and collapsed with the other dancer falling upon him. X rays of his back revealed spondylolisthesis, a congenital condition. The claimant finished the tour in October and filed a claim in November, 1945.
