J. P. Reynolds was indicted in the Superior Court of Hall County on 25 counts of simple larceny. Each count alleged that the accused stole a specified number of gallons of water from the City of Gainesville by taking the same through a two-inch water pipe attached to a six-inch water pipe connected with the city water system.
