Gordon Norman Johnston, a licensed architect, entered into a contract with the board of directors of Tacoma school district No. 10 to prepare plans, secure bids, and supervise the construction of an addition to the Sheridan elementary school, at a cost not to exceed $212,102.45, for an agreed fee of six per cent of the total accepted bid.
