This is an interlocutory appeal from an order of dismissal entered by the lower court.

The appellant-plaintiff filed a suit seeking to foreclose a mechanic's lien on certain properties owned by the appellee-defendant. The defendant moved to dismiss, challenging the court's jurisdiction over his person upon the following ground:

"1. That the Court lacks jurisdiction over the Defendant for reason that the Defendant is a non-resident...
