This is an appeal by John A. Maxwell and the Algonac Manufacturing Company from a judgment of conviction in a criminal case.

Mr. Maxwell was sentenced to three years' imprisonment and fined $30,000.00. The company was also fined $30,000.00. After a consideration of the record on appeal, we are clearly of the view that the judgment of the District Court should be reversed, the convictions set aside, the fines cancelled, and appellant...
