The defendant, charged with two speeding violations, pleaded guilty to both charges and was sentenced to pay a fine of $50 on each conviction or, in default thereof, to a term of 10 days imprisonment on each charge. It appearing that he had a previous speeding conviction within 18 months, his license to operate a motor vehicle was revoked.
