Having fallen from a scaffold in the afternoon of May 10, 1957, while employed as a carpenter by the East Texas Development Company on a construction job in the City of Nacogdoches severely injuring himself, appellee claimed total and permanent disability under our Workmen's Compensation Act, Vernon's Ann.Civ.St. art. 8306 et seq., against appellant, insurance carrier.
