This is a workmen's compensation suit instituted by Louis R. Blanchard against the Travelers Insurance Company, in which plaintiff alleges that he is totally and permanently disabled as a result of an injury sustained by him on January 2, 1958, while working as a roughneck on a drilling rig operated by John W.
