Defendant was charged by information with the crime of embezzlement in that he "being a member of the Las Vegas Junior Chamber of Commerce, and having been entrusted with the sum of $355 lawful money of the United States, said money being the property of the said Las Vegas Junior Chamber of Commerce, wilfully, unlawfully and feloniously [did] appropriate and use the said monies for purposes other than that for which the same was entrusted, with the intent...
