On January 10, 1957 Schiavone-Bonomo Corporation (Schiavone) contracted with Apex Salvage Corporation (Apex) for the purpose of one scow load of approximately 500 gross tons of No. 2 heavy melting steel to be loaded, stowed and trimmed by Apex.
