Defendant was indicted for the crime of Going Armed with a Firearm with Intent to Use the Same Unlawfully, as defined in section 695.1, Code 1958, I.C.A. The indictment also charged that defendant had twice previously been convicted of felonies—murder and larceny in the nighttime—and sentenced and committed to prison therefor. Defendant pleaded not guilty, was tried before court and jury, found guilty and also found to have been convicted...
