The United States is the owner of Block No. 193, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, which is the site of what is known as the Old Post Office Building. Title was acquired in 1872 through condemnation proceedings.

During 1957, there was talk about the Government disposing of the property. Descendants or their successors in interest of some of the original condemnees then began to assert that the Government's acquisition had been one solely...
