The Grand Jury of Orangeburg County did, on September 15, 1958, at a Court of General Sessions, return an indictment charging William Otis Britt and Douglas Westbury, the appellants herein, along with Lee von Tilson, with the murder of Harry Boyd Ray, it being asserted that the homicide occurred in Orangeburg County on September 7, 1958....
