The petitioners (Williams) reside at 150 Prospect Street in Belmont. In December, 1958, they sought a writ of mandamus to require the inspector of buildings of the town to "forbid and prevent" the construction of a tennis court on land of Henrietta N. Barnes between the Williams residence and the Barnes residence at 164 Prospect Street for the reasons that no building permit had been issued as required by the building by-law for a building or structure...
