These are two alcoholic beverage forfeiture suits filed by the State of Texas by the Attorney General against Lester Ernest Harris, appellee, concerning alcoholic beverages seized by agents of the Texas Liquor Control Board under the provisions of Art. 666, § 42(a), Vernon's Texas Penal Code, and sought to be forfeited under § 42(b) of that Article. The trial court heard testimony in both cases at the same time, thus there is only one statement...
