Defendant was tried in the circuit court of Newaygo county before a jury under an information charging that on the 16th day of November, 1956, he "feloniously, wilfully and of his malice aforethought did kill and murder one George Lloyd Krise." A verdict of guilty of murder in the second degree was returned and accepted by the court. Motion for a new trial was made and denied. Defendant was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of not less than 20 nor more...
