The plaintiffs in this action reside upon land which they own adjacent to the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. They seek to recover damages from the Port of Seattle (which owns and operates the airport) for reduction in the value of their property occasioned by the noise of airplanes landing, warming up, and taking off from the field, and from the defendant airlines for trespasses over their property.
