James Hudson, also known as Allen Jenkins, was adjudged not guilty by reason of insanity of a charge of larceny on April 2, 1957, by Judge George W. Griffith, of Cambria County, specially sitting without a jury. Pursuant to this judgment, Hudson has been confined in mental hospitals until the present time. Now, however, it is reported by the medical authorities that he is "in remission" of his mental illness, and the question is raised...
