This is a suit to recover $16,600 which, the plaintiffs say, was paid to the Government by mistake.

The plaintiff Colonial Navigation Company bought the tanker type ship, the Pueblo, from the United States Maritime Commission in December 1947 and received title to the ship on January 14, 1948.
