Appellant was accused by an information of a violation of section 10851 of the Vehicle Code (car theft) in Count I and of a violation of section 211 of the Penal Code in Count II (robbery). A jury found appellant guilty of robbery of the first degree. He was acquitted of the charge of car theft. He has appealed from the judgment and the order denying him a new trial.
