Petitioner was tried by this court sitting without a jury and found guilty of sodomy and corrupting the morals of a minor child on bills 1419 and 1420, July sessions 1957. On April 14, 1959, he was sentenced by this court on bill 1419, the sodomy bill, to a term of from 5 to 10 years, effective as of the date of committment, November 28, 1958.
