This is the application of the defendant, Charles G. Rhodes, to be admitted to bail during the pendency of his appeal in this court.

On January 4, 1960, the applicant was convicted in the District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia of knowingly making false statements to a Federal Savings and Loan Association to obtain a $20,000 loan, and he was sentenced to twenty-two months imprisonment and a fine of $3,000.
