Carl Harvey Bistram, on his plea of guilty, entered September 27, 1949, to an indictment charging him with the crime of kidnapping in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1201(a), was sentenced by the District Court on October 28, 1949, to imprisonment for thirty years.
