This is a declaratory judgment proceeding.1 In it, the plaintiff seeks a decree that the property owned by him in Stubbs Place Addition to the City of Monroe is free of the restriction on its sale and use which appears in an authentic instrument dated June 13, 1922, recorded in the mortgage and conveyance records of Ouachita Parish.
