The appellant, Elijah Means, and a codefendant were charged by indictment with one count of conspiracy (Pen. Code, § 182) and three counts of violation of section 11500 of the Health and Safety Code. The indictment also charged the appellant with several prior convictions for violating section 11500 of the Health and Safety Code, all of which were admitted before trial.
