Libellant, an A/B seaman employed on the S. S. Margaritis, was injured on April 1, 1958, while the vessel was in drydock for minor repairs at Norfolk, Virginia. The accident occurred at approximately 3 P.M. while libellant was assisting in moving an oxygen tank from a pallet or crib which had brought the tank and other shipstore supplies from the dock to the deck of the vessel.
