On September 25, 1958, Wallace Parker Wade, appellant, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter as a result of an automobile accident in which Fred Melvin Dickerson received fatal injuries. The jury fixed his punishment at confinement in the penitentiary for a period of two years.
