QUINN, Associate Judge.

Appellant brought suit in the United States District Court for false arrest and imprisonment.1 He asked $500,000 for compensatory and punitive damages, but the latter, in the amount of $250,000, were eliminated by the trial court. No appeal was taken from that ruling. The jury returned a verdict for appellant and awarded compensatory damages in the amount of $10,000. Appellees moved for judgment n.o.v. or, alternatively...
