This litigation consists of eight different suits which were consolidated for trial purposes. The said suits are for damages in tort which arise out of an automobile accident involving three automobiles. The accident occurred on Louisiana Highway No. 1, approximately two miles north of the Town of Addis, in West Baton Rouge Parish, at approximately 1:30 A.M. on the morning of June 30, 1959.
