Petitioners maintain that in their arrest, imprisonment and trial at the December 1958 term of Alamance County they were denied certain fundamental rights secured to them by Article I, sections 11 and 17 of the Constitution of North Carolina and as a consequence they have been deprived of their liberties without due process of law.
