For brevity, in lieu of stating the lengthy names of the parties, they will be referred to as "Rosenthal", the German manufacturer, and "R. B. C. C.", "Block", and "Loewy", the American firms. The latter have moved to stay the arbitration of certain demands made pursuant to two written notices, dated January 22, 1960, served by the former under an agreement between the parties.
