On the afternoon of April 28, 1959, the appellant shot and killed her husband, Joseph E. Connelly, from whom she had been separated for several months. Charged with murder in the first degree the appellant was convicted of second degree murder and was sentenced to fourteen years imprisonment. We find it necessary to discuss only one of the points relied upon for reversal, an asserted error in the admission of incompetent evidence.
