This bill was filed in the name of the State, upon the relation of a citizen, against the respondent Larry claiming that Larry was a usurper in the office of Magistrate in the Ninth District of Obion County. The Chancellor heard the case on oral testimony and after a complete hearing of both sides determined that the respondent Larry had not carried the burden of proof and was therefore a usurper in this office. An exception was taken to this decree...
