The appellant, Q.C. Williams, sustained a severe injury to his left eye on June 13, 1956, while engaged in the performance of his duties as an employee of the Roy Motor Company in the City of Hazlehurst. He was taken to the hospital immediately and underwent surgery for the removal of the eyeball. The accident was reported promptly to the Mississippi Workmen's Compensation Commission.
