This appeal involves the constitutionality of the released-time program carried on in Spokane in school district No. 81.

The action was instituted by the plaintiffs, William Perry, Bud Cox, Kenneth Roberts and Ray Parringer. They, as taxpayers, sought to have the released-time program, being carried out in Spokane, declared unconstitutional.
