Plaintiff filed this action for damages for personal injuries resulting from a collision between a car driven by plaintiff and defendant's switch engine at a grade crossing on 45th Street, Rock Island, Illinois. Upon the trial the jury rendered the verdict in plaintiff's favor for damages in the amount of $7,500.
