Appellant was convicted by the court sitting without a jury of grand theft.

The prosecution's evidence showed that appellant, who was then using the name of Taylor, was in 1957 employed by a San Rafael automobile dealer. The complaining witness, Marianne Muglia, met appellant and told him that she was interested in buying a new car. Appellant represented to her that he would obtain for her a 1957...
