TOMLINSON, Justice.

This is an appeal by Cribbs from a conviction of the offense created by Code Section 59-1001, commonly known as the "hit and run" statute. His punishment was fixed at a fine of $2,500 and confinement in the workhouse for eleven months and twenty-nine days. He denies that he was the driver of the offending car, or was in Haywood County that day, and, along with other evidence, offers evidence which he says establishes a complete and irrefutable...
