This is a claim made under the provisions of the Louisiana Workmen's Compensation Statute, LSA-R.S. 23:1021 et seq. Plaintiff, a resident of New Orleans, was in the employ of Henry J. Kaiser Construction Company, which was performing certain construction work at Gramercy, St. James Parish, Louisiana.
