1. The plaintiff, Jack Robert Delaney, was convicted of the crime of assault with intent to commit rape, and sentenced to a term of fifteen years in the penitentiary. He appealed, and the circuit court, on his motion to be admitted to bail, set bail in the amount of $15,000. Pending the appeal, the plaintiff is confined to the county jail of Clackamas County.
