Claimant was employed as a factory inspector by the New York State Department of Labor and sustained a back injury on July 8, 1947. He was found to be permanently partially disabled but the case was closed on May 4, 1955 without an award because claimant had continued work. On August 30, 1957 the case was reopened because of medical reports indicating a total disability due to the back injury. Claimant was absent from work from July 9, 1957 to September 30, 1957.
