Plaintiff, Mrs. Mae Norwood, sued defendants, Parham (the driver) and White (the owner), for personal injuries as a result of being struck down as a pedestrian by defendants' truck on Main Street in Dallas on 3 June 1957. Trial was to a jury, which found defendants guilty of a number of acts of negligence proximately causing plaintiff's injuries; fixed plaintiff's damages at $6,500; and further found, in Issues 20 and 21, that plaintiff was guilty...
