HAMMOND, J., delivered the opinion of the Court.

At his mother's death when he was seventeen, J. Fred Adams, Jr. (commonly called Tubby), inherited in trust a small fortune from his maternal grandfather which became his outright in 1925, when he attained his majority. His father died in 1955, leaving Tubby a life estate in the rest and residue of his estate, which consisted of his home place in Baltimore County, Glen Wild, and the proceeds of recently sold acreage...
